In November 2012 we attended the wondering Wisconsin Book Festival in Madison. Marques Toliver on behalf of Love is the Law Magazine took part in Encyclopedia shows as well as running music workshops with young hip-hop-ers involed in the ‘First Wave Program’ — a scholarship program for disadvantaged youth passionate about hip hop, to help them gain higher education through their passion. This is just a little recap of our trip including poets such as Frank X Walker (a soon to be featured poet on our pages), the final performance from the brilliant First Wave kids, and some other highlights from our trip. —
